Eve’s at the Garden International Dinner Series presents Aphrodisiacs of Greece and Italy
PORTLAND, Maine – Executive Chef Tim Labonte’s International Dinner Series at Eve’s at the Garden Restaurant, “Aphrodisiacs of Greece and Italy,” has been rescheduled due to the weather for Friday, February 22 at 6:30pm.
The Aphrodisiacs Dinner is the second in a series of International Dinners planned at the Portland Harbor Hotel through May. “Aphrodisiacs of Greece and Italy” will introduce some of the food and liquor specialties of Italy and Greece as part of a four-course meal.  The evening begins with a sparkling wine reception with oysters, roasted grapes and more before continuing at the table with stuffed long stem artichoke with ricotta and basil emulsion; asparagus tips with poached egg, limoncello vinaigrette, and shaved yellowfin bottarga (a Mediterranean delicacy of cured fish roe), and pork loin with duck ravioli, young olives, and fennel puree, followed by three savory desserts.
Adding to the fun of the evening, the aphrodisiacs and history of the ingredients in the dishes will be introduced individually and Erica Archer from Wine Wise will describe the wine pairings. A few other surprises for the guests are in the works.
Tickets for the dinner are available online through BrownPaperTickets.com and are $70 per person, including the dinner, wine pairings, tax and gratuity, and valet parking in the Hotel's covered garage.
Seating is limited and advance purchase is required; the January dinner sold out.

Eve’s at the Garden International Dinner Series presents Aphrodisiacs of Greece and Italy

PORTLAND, Maine – Next in line for Executive Chef Tim Labonte’s International Dinner Series at Eve’s at the Garden Restaurant, Portland Harbor Hotel, is “Aphrodisiacs of Greece and Italy.” The dinner will be held Friday, February 8 at 6:30 pm.
