Wagyu Beef Burger, Duck Sliders, More on New Bar Menu at The Salt Exchange
PORTLAND, Maine – Dining at the bar, often the epicenter of restaurant activity, usually provides a view of the dining room, the guests and the restaurant staff. The bar at The Salt Exchange provides just such a perfect spot, with the added bonus of a view of the open kitchen.
Knowing that bar dining is an increasingly popular activity at The Salt Exchange, Executive Chef Jacob Jasinski has introduced a separate bar menu featuring a Wagyu Beef Burger (famous for its marbling, and referred to as the “foie gras” of beef) with optional additional toppings of fried egg, wild mushrooms or applewood smoked bacon; BBQ Duck Sliders, Local Mussels with Roasted Garlic, and house made Potato Chips with Truffle or Caper Seasoning. In addition, the bar menu includes full dinner portions ranging from Pumpkin-Lobster Soup with Foie Gras Mousse to Grilled Pork Flatiron with Pork Belly and Fall Bean Ragout.
The bar menu will be available Tuesday through Saturday evenings.
