From the Blog…

I put Bresca on my short list of new restaurants to try but couldn’t get a reservation for Saturday when I called on Thursday. They said that the best thing to do is to plan on a week’s notice for a weekend reservation but they can usually fit people in the same day for Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.  Good to know. They were very nice and took my name and told me they would call if there was an opening.

So, quick change of plans and I’m heading over to another one on my list, Vignola. I’ve heard good things about them and can’t wait to try it for myself.  I had no problem getting a Saturday reservation for 2 at 7:00 so I’ll let you know how it was. 

Too bad I couldn’t fit in the Belgian Beer & Cheese Tasting party from 2:00 to 5:30 but maybe next year.  I saw that Luke from BlogAboutBeer.com was going so I’m looking forward to his review.
